Are you a business owner, leader, entrepreneur, or even employee who wants to address mental health in your organization, but doesn't where to start? If so, the Mental Health in the Workplace event is for you. Founder, CEO, and Lead Consultant of Healing Without Limits Counseling and Consulting, Andriel Ugbomeh, MSSA, LSW, will be hosting a discussion to explore how employers, employees, and leaders can support mental health in their workplace. We will lead this discussion by exploring what mental health means to you, and how to become a mental health change agent within your organization.
About Andriel:
Andriel is the Founder, CEO, and Lead Consultant of Healing Without Limits Counseling and Consulting, LLC.
Andriel is a licensed Social Worker through the Ohio Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Social Work Board. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
Andriel has extensive experience providing mental health treatment to adults and couples as an EMDR-trained therapist. Andriel also worked as a therapist in a psychiatric hospital as well as in intensive outpatient treatment for substance use disorders.
She has several years of experience working with local behavioral health agencies to advance their organization, prepare for accreditations, improve their policies, and develop and implement mental health programs.
Additionally, Andriel has worked on several projects for local, state, and federal governments, including oversight and administration for a 96-million-dollar State Opioid Response (SOR) grant, and, additionally, a multi-year contract with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) where she coordinated the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) interagency stakeholder engagement on Drug Overdose Prevention-related topics.
Andriel is passionate and focused on advancing the US mental health system, providing quality mental health treatment to underserved communities, reducing stigma around mental illness and substance abuse, and transforming workplaces all over the US with mental health-informed work environments.
Andriel was named the Emerging Leader of the Year in 2020, by the National Association of Social Workers Ohio Chapter, and published in several magazines, highlighting her career in Social Work.
