Event Description:
Development Download is a forum to enhance relationship-building and communication between area businesses and city officials. We are pleased to welcome Luke Messinger, CEO, Rapid 5 and Tim Moloney, Executive Director, Columbus Metro Parks. We will also hear updates from city officials.
With the anticipated population growth of central Ohio, it is imperative that we acquire, steward and connect greenspace for the benefit of our communities. RAPID 5 is a nonprofit committed to this challenge with the mission of Connecting People with Nature. Learn about how RAPID 5 is achieving this mission from CEO Luke Messinger.
Tim will be rolling out the plans showing the Heritage Trail Extension. This trail will be an 8-mile extension of the Heritage Trail which, when completed, will connect downtown Columbus to the outskirts of Plain City. This new trail will run through portions of Hilliard, Columbus, Upper Arlington, Marble Cliff, and Grandview Heights.
We'll also hear updates from the following city officials:
