Event Description:
The Gifts of Grateful Living: Membership Appreciation Luncheon
In a world that seems biased towards negativity, consumption, and comparison, what does it mean to live gratefully? What are the benefits of gratitude for ourselves, our relationships, and our planet? We’ll explore these questions and more, and you’ll leave with suggestions for how to mindfully and creatively integrate gratitude practices into your daily life.
About Katy
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist and Creative Mindfulness Coach, as well as a singer/songwriter!
I’m also a life-long spiritual seeker and “old soul” who enjoys classic movie musicals (a la Judy Garland and Fred Astaire), folk music (i.e. Indigo Girls, James Taylor, and Jewel), and vegan cuisine (quinoa, anyone?!).
I teach busy individuals and organizations creative mindfulness practices to help them manage stress, increase joy, lean into gratitude, and infuse creativity into their lives so they can thrive at home, at work, and out in the world.
Mindfulness has loads of psychological, physical and emotional benefits, but it’s not a “one size fits all.” You don’t have to do formal mindfulness meditation practice to be mindful! There are SO many creative ways to bring more mindfulness into your everyday life, and I’m here to support you in doing so.
