Building Inspector Technician II

Under the direction of the Director of Building and Zoning, the position of Building Inspector II is responsible for enforcing the City’s residential and non-residential zoning and property maintenance codes/standards as well as the City’s residential and/or non-residential building codes. Enforcement includes, but is not limited to performing site building and/or property maintenance inspections, building plan reviews, site plan reviews, Board of Zoning Appeals & Planning Commission case reviews with documentation of results/findings. Performs all permit functions as related to building, zoning, property maintenance, scheduling, office process functions and other related duties as required.
